Our providers offer primary care services to elderly patients in a variety of settings. Staff geriatricians, nurse practitioners, and pharmacists provide inpatient, outpatient, and nursing facility care. Patients who are likely to benefit from geriatric medicine evaluation include those with memory problems, incontinence, gait instability, falls, chronic illness, and complex drug regimens, as well as those who are in need of extended care.

Research and Education

The geriatric medicine staff is committed to expanding the fund of knowledge in clinical geriatric health care through ongoing clinical research programs. Center for Senior Care physicians, nurse practitioners, and social workers serve as teachers to students and other physicians to promote knowledge, skills, and sensitivity to concerns of aging.
