Anthony J. DiAngelis, DMD

Dentistry and Oral Surgery

Dr. Anthony DiAngelis is a professor at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. He is a 1969 graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and received his Masters in Public Health from the University of Minnesota, where he has been on faculty since 1972. Dr. DiAngelis completed his specialty training (MPH) at the University of Minnesota. Throughout his academic career, Dr. DiAngelis has maintained a private practice in Minneapolis.

Dr. DiAngelis was the former Chief of Dentistry and has been very active in organized dentistry, serving as president of the Minneapolis District Dental Society and past chair of the Minnesota Dental Associations' Scientific Session Committee, as well as serving in leadership capacities in several national professional organizations.

Dr. DiAngelis is a frequent guest lecturer both nationally and internationally, and has contributed numerous publications to the scientific literature, as well as serving on the editorial boards of the Journal of the American Dental Association, and other national dental journals. He has lectured to dentists throughout the world on the clinical management of traumatic dental injuries. Additionally, he works with sleep labs and sleep physicians in the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea with oral appliance therapy.
