Diabetes and Nutrition
Jodie Duntley is an Advanced Practice Nurse and a Certified Clinical Nurse Specialist in the management of Adult Diabetes. She obtained a Master of Science Degree from the University of Minnesota in 1999. She has been a Certified Diabetes Educator since 1988. She has worked at the Hennepin Center for Diabetes and Endocrinology since 1999, which is listed as a US News and Business Report "Best Endocrinology Centers". She is also an adjunct instructor at the University of Minnesota School of Nursing, has been involved in multiple diabetes research trials, and currently is a co-investigator in a research study looking at the cause and prevention of Type 1 Diabetes.
She works in conjunction with 3 Endocrinologists (MDs), Diabetes Educators, Nutritionists and a team of others dedicated to improving the health and well being of those living with Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes. She has a special interest in multicultural and minority diabetes health and management.
