Specialty Centers

Kyrsten Theodotou is a pediatric speech language pathologist. She completed her undergraduate and graduate coursework at the University of Northern Iowa. Her clinical fellowship year was completed at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, in which she spent a year specializing in working with children with feeding and swallowing difficulties, developmental delays, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and training in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Since 2012, Kyrsten has expanded her experience by working with pediatric patients with a variety of disorders in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. She is an active member on the Growth and Nutrition Team and the Pediatric Brain Injury Team. Kyrsten enjoys working with children of all ages; however she has a passion for working with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers; helping the families promote good communication with their children and developing strong relationships with them. Collaborating with families so that children are not only achieving their goals in the therapy room, but also carrying over their success to the home, is what Kyrsten finds most rewarding about working in pediatrics.

In her free time, Kyrsten enjoys spending time with her husband, family and friends, cooking, and expanding her own food repertoire at many of the unique, local restaurants in the Twin Cities.
