"As a medication therapy management practitioner, I am able to work with patients and caregivers to understand how medications affect daily routines and quality of life. My goal is to ensure that medication regimens are tailored to patients' preferences and are supported by clinical evidence. I love having the opportunity to work with patients and providers within HCMC and the community."

Clinical Expertise

Shannon's areas of interest are geriatrics, home-based interventions, and transitions of care. Shannon received her Doctorate of Pharmacy degree at the University of Minnesota–Twin Cities. She completed a two-year Leadership Residency through the University of Minnesota, working to establish home pharmacy visits with the Minnesota Visiting Nurse Agency. She is an Assistant Professor with the Department of Pharmaceutical Care and Health Systems at the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy. She has been practicing medication therapy management since 2007 and has been a medication therapy management provider with HCMC since 2012.
