Kate Diaz Vickery, MD, MSc
Dr. Kate Vickery grew up in Hennepin County and earned her medical degree in 2008 from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in NY. She completed her residency training in family medicine at United Family Medicine, a federally qualified health center in St. Paul, MN. She pursued an additional year of training in community medicine and public health at United Family Medicine. She also completed a research fellowship at the University of Michigan through the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's Clinical Scholars Program in June, 2014.
Dr. Vickery is a clinician-investigator in the Division of General Internal Medicine and the Center for Patient and Provider Experience. Her research partners with community leaders to examine ways to connect health care with public health, social services and other sectors to improve health equity.
