Dawn Mosbrucker, DNP, RN, CNM
Dawn is a Certified Nurse Midwife at Hennepin County Medical Center. She earned a BSN degree from the College of St. Benedict and worked as an RN for 13 years before earning her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in Midwifery from the University of Minnesota in 2013. She is a member of the American College of Nurse-Midwives and the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
Dawn enjoys working with women across the lifespan from menarche to menopause. She especially enjoys developing a relationship with women and their families during pregnancy and likes to focus on educating women about how to make healthy choices for themselves and their babies. Dawn enjoys working with patients of different cultures and thinks that providing personal, evidence-based midwifery care is important. Getting to know families during their pregnancy journey, providing close labor support, attending water births, and providing breastfeeding support are special interests for Dawn.
Outside of work, Dawn enjoys traveling internationally with her husband, spending time with family, running, biking, playing volleyball, reading, and playing flute. Dawn and her husband also welcomed their first daughter into their family in 2013 and are thrilled to be new parents.
