Commitment to Patient Centered Care
"I am privileged to work with patients who are hospitalized at Hennepin County Medical Center and provide care alongside an excellent team. The hospital can be a stressful place for anyone but good communication and patient-centered care can help. One of the most important parts of my job is to ensure patients and families feel informed and in control of their care."
Joe is a physician assistant who works with hospitalized patients. He received a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Joe worked as a registered nurse in long-term care before returning to school to complete his Master's in Physician Assistant Studies degree and a graduate certificate in global health at University of Wisconsin-Madison.
