Dr. Shaye earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics at Hamilton College, graduating magna cum laude. He was awarded a one year Fulbright Fellowship from the U.S. Department of State to work within the public health sector in Dominica. Dr. Shaye then attended medical school at Albany Medical College and graduated Alpha Omega Alpha. He completed a five year residency in head & neck surgery at the University of California at Davis. Dr. Shaye was then awarded a prestigious fellowship in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Minnesota.

Dr. David Shaye specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face, head and neck. This includes aesthetic procedures such as facelift, blepharoplasty and browlift. Dr. Shaye also performs reconstructive surgeries for trauma, congenital deformities, and cancer reconstruction with free tissue transfer. He specializes in both cosmetic and reconstructive rhinoplasty. Dr. Shaye has authored several scientific papers and textbook chapters on topics within the field.

Dr. Shaye enjoys donating his time performing surgeries in countries with great need. He has performed volunteer medical work in Malawi, Bhutan and Guatemala. Dr. Shaye recently returned from Zimbabwe having repaired over 50 children with cleft lip and palate deformities. He plans to continue this work throughout his career.
