Dr. Lockman completed his undergraduate degree and medical school in California prior to moving to Ohio for his residency. He served as the Rehabilitation Medical Director at Banner Boswell Medical Center in Sun City, AZ for 12 years and also ran his own private practice. In 2009, he and his family relocated to Minnesota. He was the Medical Director of Rehabilitation of the New River Medical Center in Monticello, MN until April 2013 when he became Chief of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Hennepin County Medical Center. He is an Adjunct Assistant Professor for the University of Minnesota Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency program.
Dr. Lockman is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation as well as Electrodiagnostic Medicine. He sees a variety of rehabilitation patients including stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, and amputees with a special interest in musculoskeletal ultrasound and spasticity management. Procedures performed include EMG and nerve conduction studies.
