If you are using popular recruiting websites like Indeed, please be aware of active scams where someone claiming to be a temporary recruiter asks you to download a third party messaging app to communicate about the job or instructs you to purchase equipment that you will need for your job. Our recruiters will not ask you to download a third party app to communicate or tell you to purchase equipment. All communication with you will be through official Hennepin Healthcare channels.

Why work for Hennepin Healthcare?

Required COVID-19 Vaccinations for Employees

Hennepin Healthcare will begin requiring employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by November 1, 2021. This includes all employees, volunteers, students, and contracted staff, with limited exemptions for medical or religious reasons.

Team members may request an exemption for limited medical reasons consistent with CDC recommendations or sincerely held religious beliefs. If their request is not approved, they will be expected to receive the vaccine.

New employees will have the opportunity to access the exemption forms during an occupational health visit.

This policy affects all of our employees, including remote workers, because this is a public health crisis affecting all communities and we must do everything we possibly can to stop the pandemic.

Everyone who works in our facilities will be required to participate in the program, and we will be partnering with their various employers and programs to coordinate vaccinations and confirm vaccination status through the Minnesota Immunization Information Connection (MIIC).

For any exemptions that are granted, our infection prevention team will utilize CDC guidelines to enact precautions as necessary to maintain safety.

Each request for an exception to the vaccination policy will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Hennepin Healthcare will obtain vaccine information on team members through the state’s immunization registry (MIIC). If there are any additional questions, please reach out to Employee Occupational Health & Wellness at 612-873-2383 or email [email protected].
