Cardiology

Body System Location: Blood, Heart, and Circulation

The Division of Cardiology provides a wide range of patient care services for diseases and conditions of the heart and blood vessels. Our skilled physicians treat patients with heart disease, vascular disease, coronary artery disease and hypertension. We have special expertise in heart disease in women, heart disease in renal (kidney) disorders, congestive heart failure, and heart attack. Patients in our care are aided with the best in diagnostic and treatment capabilities, including electrophysiology testing, echocardiography, interventional cardiology procedures, angioplasty, and pacemaker and defibrillator implantation. Ongoing and follow-up care through stress testing and cardiac rehabilitation helps the patient and the cardiologist understand the cardiac care needs.
