Dr. Meghan Walsh, Chief Medical Education Officer at HCMC, leads the Transitional Year Residency. A recipient of HCMC’s "Best Teacher-Resident" and "Best Teacher-Faculty" award on multiple occasions, she ensures that Transitional Year residents experience the best that each discipline has to offer. Dr. Walsh also completed her Internal Medicine residency and Chief residency programs here at HCMC.

A cross-functional leadership team, comprised of program directors from Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Radiology and other key specialties, meets regularly to design the Transitional Year Residency curriculum. This emphasis makes HCMC’s Transitional Year Residency one of our top educational programs.
