The Hennepin Heart Center provides comprehensive care for your heart by specialists in all areas of cardiovascular medicine. We have been delivering patient–centered, high quality cardiovascular care to all of our patients for more than forty years. Today at the Hennepin Heart Center, we care for common cardiovascular problems such as blocked arteries and abnormal rhythms and we evaluate and manage heart failure, complex heart and arterial disease.
Located in a premiere Level I Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center, teaching and research facility, the Hennepin Heart Center offers patients access to the latest innovations in cardiac care and clinical therapies. Patients who need intensive monitoring or follow up after a procedure stay in our inpatient unit located near the Cardiology Clinic.
Our Brooklyn Center Clinic has partnered with HeartSavers to offer a simple inexpensive, non-invasive test to identify early heart disease in those even with no symptoms. ECMO is short for Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation. It is a treatment available to adult and pediatric patients over 14 years old who are experiencing acute respiratory failure. Find more information about this treatment.
