Enroll in MNsure and Get Covered!
All U.S. citizens and legal residents are now required to have health insurance coverage or pay a tax penalty. If you don’t already have health coverage, the MNsure online marketplace is a new way to find, compare, and buy health coverage that fits your budget and meets your needs. You may even qualify for a low-cost or free plan. Open enrollment for coverage starting in 2015 is November 15, 2014-February 15, 2015. You may apply for coverage outside of this window if you are eligible for a government program such as Medical Assistance or MinnesotaCare or experience a qualifying life event, such as moving to a new state, certain changes in income, and changes in family size.
Paying for your health care services
What's Your Plan?
Paying for your health care services is easier when you have a plan. Your plan could be anything from a government-funded public health care program or a commercial insurance plan offered through your employer, to a financial assistance plan provided by us, Hennepin County Medical Center (HCMC). Whatever your plan may be, the important thing is that it helps you and your family pay for your medical expenses and achieve health and wellness.
At HCMC, we will do our part to help make the billing and payment process as easy as possible. And if you don't have a plan yet—or if you ever happen to find yourself without one—we will do our best to help you find one that works for you.
Is your plan a form of insurance?
As a first step, please select whether or not your plan is a form of health insurance. This will help us determine what information we need to provide.
